Disney, it is time to start stripping ticktockers and vloggers of their passes if they are posting these “hacks”.
Seriously, they are using the parks for commercial purposes and you are not getting anything in return from these ones. The ones that are simply showing what is going on for various events and such are one thing, that is more along the lines of reporting, but this is in clear violation of the rules.
Disney, you make Billions of $$ and have priced many families out of vacationing to Disney resorts. How about you just put a reasonable limit on these and in your own words, let it go.
Pitting it on ITM does not help….
First of all, Disneyland has become far too expensive. Most of the lines for rides are ridiculously long, which makes it very stressful for parents with little ones trying to keep them patient. And Disneyland continues to raise prices with little regard. Add to that people behaving badly on a regular basis. My two grandchildren wanted to go to Disneyland, but I talked them into going camping with me up in the mountains in Colorado. We roasted hotdogs over a campfire, made s’mores, went fishing at a nearby lake, I got to teach them a little bit about astronomy at night, went on hikes wher we saw some Elk, Deer, a couple of beavers, hawks, etc….. We camped in a nice tent for three whole days. Afterwards they told me that going camping was way more fun….
Trust me… they have a whole security team that does this…. you just never hear about it because then the vlogger feels like an idiot after receiving an official letter in the mail about being banned from Disneyland. You think they’re going to post that? LOL
I would. I don’t blog or frequent Disneyworld but if they banned me for posting a video I would totally make a stink. It’s nobody’s job to do PR for Disney but Disney and the largest recreational park in the state doesn’t get to declare everyone’s First Amendment rights suspended just because they go through the entrance.
I’m so sick of the TikTokers and livestreamers on YouTube at the park. Go beg off property, or better yet – get jobs. They do nothing but ruin the park experience for everyone. Why aren’t you guys reporting on that Beautiful Tomorrow TV vlogger who faked a disability so he could get on the rides at DCA and Disneyland before everyone else. Go to YouTube and look at the hours of livestreaming and begging that he does at the parks every single day. He streams up to 8 or 9 hours straight at the park. He makes a lot on YouTube donations. Why doesn’t Disney stop these beggars?
Wow you mean tiktok is cancer? Well golee i I wish i knew that sooner
I had someone fake a disability to get on Pirates of the Caribbean faster…. they ended up waiting 2.5 hours longer than folks in the normal line. They were the only group I did not recommend the regular line to. I saw the kid run up and jump in the chair, nearly spring it. Then he swore to me he needed it… ok. “You can wait right here.” Every actual disabled guest was told that if they could manage to get through the regular queue it was only a half hour while our wheelchair line was about 3 hours. One of the best things I got to do while working there (my Dad was paraplegic, so I had a bias against fakers )
You are right! Disability lines are not a ticket to the front of the line. As you said, sometimes they are even longer.
If someone can transfer to a wheelchair, and have someone push them, they should be able to go through the regular line at a lot of the rides. I’ve done so at Pirates, Haunted Mansion…actually, most of the rides. I don’t do it to get to the front of the line, I just can’t stand for too long, or walk very far. But I’m definitely not expecting to jump in front of anyone. That’s just wrong, and those that do it should be made to wait longer.
This is bad marketing. Besides having the app, checking on the website, following on twister & instagram it’s a convoluted message.
Nope, people shouldn’t ask for a handout ! Stop being lazy!
Um, when my kids were little, this was called Chid Swap ND totaly normal thing. Forbid Disney give a kid who had to wait in line with his parents for a ride he was not tall enough for a free fast pass for something he can ride. I mean, after jacking the rates of park entrance, food, merch, removing entertainment, removing free fastpass, turning extra magic hours into extra magic 1/2 hour, removing Disney hotels amenities, treating working like crap, cutting their hours and overworking the staff that does show up…. How DARE they have a perk that let’s little Billy actually ENJOY his time in the park. While his parents are on the ride, he should be in the Lego store spending $$$ dangit!!
Sweetie, maybes wait to post until you’ve finished the third grade. Your English skills are so poor that half of what you wrote is unintelligible. Once you’ve learned to write at a fourth-grade level, you can try again.
One tip: There are no verbs in the English language that are conjugated with apostrophes. None. Do you know what the word “conjugate” means? Do you even know what a verb is?
Do you know what a pedant is?
their comment wasn’t even that bad u damn loser 😂😂
Posting these hacks ruins the opportunity for the child to feel special. Parents should not ask for it. There are height requirements clearly posted at the start of the ride. Check it out before you get in line. Special does not mean entitled.
This is another thing that will go away because it’s been abused. Get rid of these morons. These tiktok and youtube people should be banned from the parks. They are walking around getting in everyone’s way filming people and making a profit off them, which is not the same as giving Disney permission to film you. They need to get real jobs. I’m sick of them all walking around getting in the way and talking into the air. They’re saying nothing people couldn’t research for themselves anyway, and things change every day. Legitimate press and Disney itself can do everything they do, except whine and complain and the legitimate press can even do that.
Seriously, as a former cast member, I truly enjoyed making kids’ visits special. Privileges should not be treated as rights. If this was an experiment in social behavior, the parents are certainly proving that you cannot provide magic moments without them becoming an expectation. This makes me so sad.
We just returned from the magic…..lol. IT’S SAD PEOPLE ARE BLAMING BLOGGERS FOR DISNEY SHORTCOMMINGS. IT’S THE BILLIONAIRE BOARD CLUB THAT ONLY CARE ABOUT SHAREHOLDER PROFIT RUINING IT! DISNEY IS DRAD AND SO IS THE PARK. Enjoy the DIS stock ticker going up at families expenses.
Business is the activity of making one’s living or making money by producing or buying and selling products (such as goods and services).
The board of directors is elected by the shareholders of a corporation to oversee and govern the management and to make corporate decisions on their behalf. As a result, the board is directly responsible for protecting and managing shareholders’ interests in the company. All publicly-traded companies in the United States must have a board of directors comprised of both inside and outside representatives. The role of the board of directors is to act as an advocate for shareholders and monitor the corporation’s management team to ensure that they are promoting and maximizing the shareholders’ interest.
I thought you might need that definition on what business is and a quick breifing on what the legal responsibility of a business’s board of directors is towards it’s shareholders as you seem to have not been educated about it.
You can ask until you are blue on the face, but the cast member probably does not have one of these. They are very, very, very rarely given to cast members to distribute – I worked at Disney for 2 years and never received a single one to give away. Just because you got lucky and a cast member was able to give you a “magic moment” doesn’t mean that magic moment is available to everyone- that is why they are called “magic” moments and not “typical, average, everyday Disney” moments. Same went for the dress code “hack” (that was a former magic moment that was retired when people began expecting it as part of their typical Disney experience. The lack of gratitude these “influencers” have for anything and everything is astonishing….
I never brought my kids to Disney by their age I always brought them by their height. I’ve seen way too many kids crying because they are an inch to short or a parent will buy a child a sandal with a 3 inch heel on it and argue with the cast member because they want the child to take them off before the height check. It’s sad but you don’t need tick-tockers to this to happen the parents are doing it all on their own
Get rid of the hack, if a lot of people use it, it would take away from when it really counts. I wish people would stop abusing special moments like this and ruining it for everyone else.
As someone who is close to a CM, this bums me out because I know it isn’t a given that this is done and, yes, the TikTok’er is ruining it for other people. But let me add… your publishing of this article also got the word out to those who don’t use TikTok. 😉
There is no “magic” anymore. Tic Tock, YouTube, video games, tablets, internet, and parents that just have to video everything their “special” little angels do and post it on line. I think Dismey should sue the pants off these pieces of crap. They are filming Disney property and their Disney characters without permission. Do something about it. Have them arrested on site while they are filming. I remember at Disney World when you weren’t allowed to take pictures.
Oh my, how simply scandalous. Ya’ll need to get a life, I’m tellin’ ya.
The “magic” has been gone for decades, making way for greed, deception, and greed. Hack or no, it’s just not worth it.

PISS OFF TIRED OF SO-CALLED FLOGGERS GET A REAL LIFE YOU LOW LIFE POS’S
Geez more of these should be given.
Just like grade school, Jr. High and High School it’s human nature to want attention and it comes in “ I don’t care who or what it hurts as long as someone pays Attention to Me “ This encompasses ALL SOCIAL MEDIA , you have Mindless Children that will do or say anything that they feel will get them attention ! Then you have Adults that look at all sides and post responsibly . And for INSIDETHEMAGIC to highlight this just shows there Irresponsible reporting and pandering to the Children who just as IRRESPONSIBLE .
I think informing on how well things are is a plus but I agree with the magical portion. You go to other parks and get dennied you get nothing. I wouldn’t spoil the kindness that these folks do. So please remove the not if for anything do it for the cast members.
First off there is no more fast passes. It is now all Lightning Lane so those passes are old. So don’t even try as they are not giving them out anymore. I remember when Indiana Jones ride opened, and if a child was too short they would give out a sticker. They also handed out cards so you could decipher the writings in the line…but those days are long gone.
