Children in Woods County, Ohio, can get free books from a vending machine at the Mid-Ohio Valley Health Department in Parkersburg, West Virginia, according to a wtap.com report.
The machine is intended for pre-school and elementary age kids to use following their WIC (Women, Infants and Children) appointment at the health department. Each book has a paper with information aimed at helping kids with reading comprehension.
The machine was provided by the Neal and Brooke Brown Foundation and the Parkersburg Area Community Foundation-Spartan Foundation.
